A yarn/ fiber order arrived today. I’d ordered more Superwash Merino Roving to be sure I’d have enough for selling as is, dyeing and blending. And I’d ordered Prime Alpaca yarn in natural colors.
The Superwash is as nice as always and I’ll be adding that to the Natural Colored Roving page.
The Superfine Alpaca yarn is new and will be added to the natural colored yarn page. I’d ordered the the laceweight version of this previously and used some to make my daughter’s wedding shawl which later earned a Best Garment award at the Finger Lakes Fiber Festival. I was pretty certain the new Alpaca Yarn would be just as nice as the lace weight and it is. I love the natural colors and how soft it is. The nutmeg color is gorgeous, but I love Silver. I’m torn between those two colors for something for myself.
